This new SD-WAN investment creates opportunities for both companies to provide branch-office connectivity across Canada in a simplified and cost-effective manner, compared to traditional router-based WANs.
The emergence of public cloud computing and SaaS has, ‘’made traditional enterprise WAN architectures substandard, from a price and performance point of view,’’ says Dan Rink, CEO of iTel Networks. With more and more organizations implementing digital business transformations, the traditional WAN infrastructure is slowly becoming incompatible. Gartner reports, SD-WAN technology will be included in up to 75% of WAN infrastructure refreshes by 2020.

Gartner reports spending on SD-WAN technology will grow at 30.2% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2022.
